During a recent trip to British Columbia’s wine region, I enjoyed a Margarita pizza and Boulevardier cocktail at Miradoro Restaurant at Tinhorn Creek Vineyards in Oliver, BC.
Similar to a Negroni, a Boulevardier replaces the gin with rye whiskey or Bourbon.
Ingredients
1.5 Rye Whiskey or Bourbon
1 oz Campari
1 oz Sweet Vermouth
Club Soda (optional)
Instructions
Stir all ingredients in a mixing glass filled with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a slice or twist of orange.
To make this cocktail more refreshing, serve it on the rocks and top with Club Soda.
