This hot toddy features The Woods Amaro, a bitter-sweet herbal liqueur.
The Woods Spirit Company is a boutique distillery located in North Vancouver, BC that specializes in gin and various liqueurs, including Amaro, Limoncello, and Nocino. I enjoyed this cocktail while visiting their distillery.
Ingredients
2 oz Woods Amaro
2-3 teaspoons honey, to taste
1-2 dashes Angostura Bitters
1 pinch of cinnamon
2-3 oz hot water
1/2 lemon slice
Instructions
Combine the Amaro, honey, hot water, and bitters to a warm mug. Stir, then garnish with 1/2 a lemon slice and a pinch of cinnamon.
