This Champagne cocktail recipe features Lightning Rock Blanc de Noirs Brut and Arbutus Distillery Barrel-Aged Baba Yaga Absinthe.

Based on the cocktail Death in the Afternoon by Ernest Hemingway, this variation uses less absinthe and doesn’t cloud the color of the cocktail.

The Blanc de Noirs notes include rose petals and tart strawberries and is a wonderful Brut on its own. For an added punch, adding Barrel-Aged Baba Yaga Absinthe gives this cocktail a definitive personality.

Ingredients

Chilled Lightning Rock Blanc de Noirs Brut
1/2 oz Barrel Aged Baba Yaga Absinthe

Instructions

Add absinthe to a chilled coupe cocktail glass and fill with Brut.
