I enjoyed this Gin & Tonic at The Gin Bar in Cape Town South Africa.
The Gin Bar is one of South Africa’s only speak-easy bars. The bar is hidden behind a chocolate shop, in a secret Mediterranean-style courtyard. With over 70 local South African gins on the menu, you are guaranteed to find something new and exciting.
Their Head Remedy Gin & Tonic is meant to cure depression, melancholy and low self-esteem. It helps you think and gets the tongue rolling!
Ingredients
2 oz Bloedlemoen Gin
4-5 oz Barker & Quin Tonic
Instructions
Pour gin into an ice-filled glass and top with tonic water. Garnish with fresh thyme, star anise and lime.
