Happy Mother’s Day!
This sour features Sons of Vancouver’s small-batch No. 82 Amaretto.
Inspired by their mothers’ canning recipes and a 16th-century love story, No. 82 Ameretto is made with apricot kernels, bourbon vanilla beans, orange peel, demerara sugar and BC blackberry honey.
Ingredients
2 oz No. 82 Amaretto
1¼ oz lemon juice
½ fresh egg white
2 dashes black walnut bitters
Instructions
Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with freshly grated nutmeg. To get a rich and thick foam, shake all the ingredients without ice first.
