A gin and tonic is the way locals enjoy their gin in Capetown, and after being presented with many local options, I selected McKruger Die Volstruis Gin. This unique gin includes notes of juniper, vanilla, apple and spicey wild pepper. To finish, Lisa added cracked black pepper and a slice of cucumber to the final drink and chose Fitch and Leedes Indian Tonic as the mix.
Ingredients
2 oz McKruger Die Volstruis Gin
Indian Tonic Water
Black pepper
Cucumber slice
Instructions
Pout gin into a tall chilled glass filled with ice and top with tonic water. Add black pepper and a slice of cucumber to finish.
