Happy National Cocktail Day! The Martinez is often considered the missing link between the Manhattan and the classic gin martini.
This recipe features a lemon rosette and Langley’s Old Tom small batch gin. Tasting notes include juniper, fennel, nutmeg, lemon peel, and coriander.
Ingredients
2 oz Langley’s Old Tom Gin
1/2 oz Martini Rosso Sweet Vermouth
1/2 oz Noilly Pratt Dry Vermouth
1/8 oz Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur
1 Dash Angostura Aromatic Bitters
Instructions
Stir all ingredients with ice, strain and serve in a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a twist of lemon.
