This variation on the classic Negroni uses the same 1:1:1 ratio but replaces gin with white whisky and Campari with 1872 Bitter. The unaged whisky blends nicely with the vermouth and bitter liqueur, producing a very smooth cocktail. I can easily see this recipe becoming a new favorite.
Ingredients
1 oz Mongrel Unaged White Whisky
1 oz Martini Rosso Vermouth
1 oz Martini & Rossi’s Riserva Speciale 1872 Bitter
Mongrel unaged white whisky is made with 100% Canadian rye, crafted at Vancouver’s Odd Society distillery.
Instructions
Stir all ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled glass with 1-2 ice cubes.
